Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 8th

Easton & I had a fun day .... this morning my friend Sarah and her daughter Lauren came over. Sarah and I worked on planning our non-profit (Couponing 4 Charity) while Easton and Lauren had fun playing together. After lunch Amy & Nat came over with Sophie and Canaan, so Easton had even more playtime. Easton has still be a bit irritable and isn't quite himself, but there were several activities so that made the day pass quickly.



The gift for the day is another Christmas shirt from Old Navy - this one says "Mommy's Favorite Gift" :-)

Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 7th

Today was a bit crazy - Easton was not his usual happy self and was quite cranky - I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong. We had plans for him to play at his friend, Ryder's house while I got some work done, but that unfortunately did not pan out. Jason had to work late again, so he came home and took a quick nap with Easton, which seemed to get him in better spirits. We ended the night on a high note and had dinner with our neighbor Natalie and her son Canaan. We have awesome neighbors .... I love this neighborhood! :-)

Easton's gift for the day was ANOTHER pair of pajamas ..... I honestly did not realize that I had purchased so many sets, but Easton is now the proud owner of 5 pairs of Christmas jammies! Oh well, it's his first Christmas so it's fine to go overboard, right? Here are some pics of him in his latest set from Old Navy, this time with Santas all over them!

Holiday Open House 2010

We hosted our 4th annual Holiday party on Saturday December 4th, which was Easton's FIRST time being a host! :-) Many of our new friends in the area attended, along with several of our out-of-town friends and family. It was a great night & everyone enjoyed the food and had a good time hanging out. Here are some photos from the night:

Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 6th

We had a fun day today hanging out with Sophie & Amy, then Jason came home early and was able to play with Easton a bit while Amy, Sophie & I made a quick run to Food Lion (Easton has to have his bananas). Jason had to go back to work, so before he left we gave Easton his gift for the day. He received a pair of Robeez shoes with cars on them, they are too cute!

Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 5th

It's the day after the Holiday Party - everyone had a fun time and the party was a success! I'll post pics from the party soon, there are a TON to go through. Today we had lunch at the Mexican Restaurant with Jake, Ash & Prul. Jacob & Ashley headed home, but Prul decided to spend an extra day with us. After we cleaned up the party aftermath, we spent Sunday watching movies, baking cookies and just hanging out & playing with Easton. One of the movies we watched was "Christmas Vacation", which is an all-time holiday favorite for all of us. It was a nice, relaxing day!

Today's gift were two pairs of Christmas socks from Old Navy. One pair has Santa and the other has, you guessed it ...... MONKEYS! :-)

Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 4th

On Saturday, December 4th we hosted our annual Holiday Party.... we gave Easton his gift at the end of the night. Today's gift was a pair of warm and snuggly snowman jammies from Children's Place. His friend Sophie got the same pjs, except in pink! Here are some photos:

Advent Calendar Countdown: Dec 3rd

Jason finally got home from work before Easton's bedtime tonight, so I let him have the honor of giving Easton his gift for Day 3. Easton received a Christmas shirt from Old Navy that said "Never naughty, always nice" .... it also has a monkey on it like the the pjs from day 1. Hmmm- monkeys must really be "in style" this year :-) Here are a few photos:
