An extra "baseball touch" for the Nursery...

Jason & I went to Hobby Lobby a few days ago, and I saw some cute foam baseball shapes. Of course I immediately thought of Easton's nursery and began to brainstorm ways I could use them. I've been wanting to add some type of labels to the baskets on his changing table - so here is what I came up with:

Close-up of baseball label

Hats, Bibs & Toiletries on top; Diapers & Burp Cloths on bottom

They were quite easy to make .... I started by printing out labels (using the sticky blank address labels that you can get at Staples, Office Max, etc). I then stuck the label on a baseball shape & punched a hole in the top of the ball. Next, I found some red ribbon ornament hangers and used those to loop through the hole. Finally, the ribbon was worked through one of the weaves in the basket - and you see the final result! :-) I love this extra touch & really like how the baseball theme is incorporated into the baskets that were originally just plain white with blue/white striped liners. What do you think????

That is such a cute idea and really will help you keep things super organized...I've never seen anything like that myself...that would make a cute gift for a shower wouldn't it?

Thanks for the compliments!

Mama - that would make a great shower idea ... they had all types of shapes, different sports, stars, animals, etc. We'll have to keep that in mind the next time we're invited to a baby shower! :-)
