Tiger tickets & a quick trip home ....
I realized I had not posted anything in a few weeks ... as you know, I started working fulltime at the community college a couple of weeks ago. Work and school have been keeping me busy! Of course, Jason is still extremely busy with recruiting duty as well.
Jason and I went in with a few of Jason's co-workers to purchase Detroit Tiger season tickets. If anyone is interested in coming up for a game, let us know. We have tickets all of the way through September .... the September games will be around play-off time, so those games should be really exciting!
I am heading to VA/NC for a short visit in a few weeks. Alison, my "Michigan friend", is coming with me to see the south! We have a busy few days with family dinners, baby showers and of course time spent with friends. Hope you see you all while we are in town!

St Patrick's Day Pub Crawl
We had a blast at the Pub Crawl! We made stops at the HAC, Quay Street Brewery (where we had a tasty lunch!), Zebra Bar, Military Street Cafe, Rum Runners & Enigma Dance Club. We finished the night with some karaoke at the VFW. Here are some pictures from the day/night .... enjoy!

Another job update...
I have been promoted! This has to be a world record, a promotion in less than 2 weeks!!! :-)
Seriously, as I previously wrote I accepted a part-time position as a Learning Lab Facilitator at the local community college. In the past few weeks, a full-time position has been developed in the same lab. So I decided to interview for the full-time job, and was offered the position today! The responsibilities are still very similar. The main differences are I will now be working 37 hours per week instead of 20 hours, and I will have "ownership" of the Skills to Work program.
This new role will be a challenge to balance with my MBA classes, but it is a great opportunity and will definitely make me a better teacher. I will keep everyone posted on progress.

It's our anniversary!
Jason & I celebrated out 1st wedding anniversary on Friday, March 7th! We had a wonderful dinner at the River Crab Restaurant. We started with a few glasses of Riesling and Lobster Bisque soup. For our entrees I had the shrimp & crab pasta and Jason had his usual Surf & Turf :-) After dinner we went to see "Juno" at the movies. Here's a picture of us at dinner ....
Instead of the typical anniversary gifts, we opted to update our bedroom television. For those that are into technology, it is a 32" Sony Bravia LCD 780p. For those that are not, it's just an awesome-looking flat screen TV :-) Here's a pic!
It's hard to believe a year has already passed .... seems like not long ago we were getting married in Hawaii! Wish we were there now; it's currently 20 degrees and snowing! How's that for a change of scenery? :-)
